From Oakhaven Designs. I used DMC Color variations 4030 and solid 924 I opted not to add the extra butterfly stitching. I will definately get this one finished..........I promise!
10:35 am - Saturday I just started some cross stitch groups and since everyone is sharing all their wips I thought I should too since I really need to finish what I've got going now before I start something new.
So, since I'm in the mood to share, I might as well start now. This piece is called Heritage Sampler. The original photo looks like this:
This other one I need to get finished is the Mystic Dragon: This, if I ever get it done, will be for hubby. He's into dragons. All stitching was done outdoors as the sun hit the cloth just right for me to see the holes. I never thought working on black cloth would be so difficult till this project.
Now for this one. I needed a break from the dragon, so I found this in one of my books. It's the Lion and lamb. Again, life got in the way and this went into the closet. Shameful really as I love the colors. No one in particular to give this to which is why I didn't feel the need to press further into getting it done. I really have to find a cure for Startitis. Not a good decease to have I might add. .
Here's what it's going to look like when finished.
But right now I'm going to start on the Love Grows SAL, which is my first. I'm using Silver Aida sz. 14 only because they don't come in 16 or 18 and I really wanted a Hand Dyed but couldn't afford it right now. I've also decided to change the colors from the reds to purples and rayon. Wish me Luck!
